There is a stark contrast between the beauty and value of the African elephant as such, and the mere economic value of its tusks. Too often the latter is overestimated. As a living being belonging to this world, he has a right to life and respect, the right not to be extinguished. I used gold to highlight the grass, to symbolize how important things are sometimes small, or different from what we think.
