Watercolour

I was inspired to paint this sea turtle because I find the patterns incredibly striking, particularly when paired with the stark contrast of the dark and light mosaic style markings. I also find them incredibly graceful and wanted to convey all of these elements in a colourful watercolour. I'm concerned about the human impact on wildlife and this is so clearly apparent with sea turtles' fight for survival.

Based in Kent, I have a Design degree and a passion for art and drawing. I'm a pet portrait artist and also paint wildlife illustrations. I enjoy creating colourful art using digital media as well as watercolour and love to combine digital techniques with watercolour stains and textures.
