Green Turtle (Chelonia Mydas). Plastic products, especially plastic bags, are being eaten by sea turtles by accident. Reasearch has found that 52% of turtles have eaten plastic, because a floating plastic bag looks like a jellyfish, algae or other species that make up sea turtle's diets. The sea turtle is probably the first thing we think of when the issue about plastic pollution is raised.
