I adore butterflies, moths and other insects. Beetles especially as they're often so beautifully coloured and when you look at these creatures under a magnifying glass the way they are made up is incredible. Their antenna and even legs are such amazing works of art and wings become teeny tiny mosaics. This is why I have such a passion, to try and communicate this to others.

Imagine spending life thinking you couldn't draw - that was Sue. Her husband treated her to a workshop in August 2019 painting butterflies and she was amazed to find she could do it. Sue still amazes herself with what drips off her brush.
