I have chosen the Rhinoceros. I have been fascinated by Durer's print of a which makes the animal look more like a tank. I have removed the horn and changed the text in my version to highlight the plight of the animals due to the illegal trade in rhino horn.

Tania Skeaping (b. 1973 Ashford, UK) studied BA Joint Hons History of Art and Visual Studies at Oxford Brookes University (1991-94). Working from photographs and sketches taken on site, through printmaking, drawing and painting, she explores the patterns inherent in the natural world and how natural forces including man shape the environment.
