Having watched the sad plight of the Sumatran Rhinoceros on a Mission Critical episode, Operation Sumatran Rhino produced by Nat Geo a few years ago, I fell in love with this endearing but critically endangered rhino species. It once populated the most of South East Asia, but now only fewer than 80 are left in the wild of my neighbouring country, Indonesia. I have painted them many times in hopes of raising awareness of their critical status.
I am an artist from Singapore and I work mainly with acrylic on canvas and watercolour. My paintings centres around local heritage architecture and regional endangered wildlife.
