As I was scrolling through the list for endangered species, an animal that caught my eye was the bearded vulture. After further research I found out that people were afraid of this species as they were rumored to eat children. I thought that although they are and look ferocious, the photo I used as my reference made them look almost lonely. I thought that this well represented myself and how although I may come off as tough, sometimes I feel lonely as well. Hence, I chose this animal and this photo that was a close up of its face and eyes.

I have just finished junior year of high school and I am Korean Canadian. I wanted to draw animals as animals represent and reflect human lifestyle which I am interested in.
