Cheetahs have fascinated me since childhood. Their fixed gaze, slow stalking steps and powerful acceleration. An animal capable of such speed and grace that I'm filled with wonder and excitement everytime I see them in motion. Grievously, the African Cheetah is critically endangered. Loss of habitat, lack of prey, and their vulnerability to humans, hunters and poachers has increased their risk of extinction.

Emma is a Hertfordshire based artist who is passionate about painting wildlife and nature.
