My work is eclectic and depends on my emotional response to whatever subject matters and interests me. Much of it is a critical interpretation about the way we live and the detrimental effect we have on the environment. This piece of artwork was inspired by an article I read about the Goldie's Bird Of Paradise and how close to extinction it is.

I was born and raised in Southampton where I attended art college. Unfortunately I did not complete the course and I consider myself-taught. My family and I moved to Wales 35+ years ago and settled in Burry Port. Now retired, I am involved with community projects and paint.
