Endangered Beauty Of Peru
21 cm x 29 cm
Lino-cut hand printed + Watercolour
The flower of the Arrayan tree in Peru. This tree is a critically endangered desert species and is only registered in the southern coastal hills of Arequipa city, Peru. I chose to make a print of the flowering fruit because I find the beautiful structure of the flower worthy of sharing with people that may never of known of its existence and risk of extinction.
I am an amateur artist with an education in fashion design. I have been Lino-cut printing for about a year now and I hope to start selling my work. I have always been fascinated with wildlife and I try to find ways where I can help support conservation.
